Cre8tive Thespians Club (CTC), Inc.
The group now on its 6th year was formerly known as Cebu Theatre Company, LTD. From the early 90s until the present, the CTC has seen so many gifted, talented individuals disappear into anonymous wilderness. When they have the chance to meet, they often express the desire to return to the stage to do what they love most: to perform.
And then, there are also a lot of people with potentials, who dream of performing on stage, but just do not have the avenue to do so.
This is why CTC was born.
The Cre8tive Thespians Club, Inc. (CTC) is a place for many people with potentials, who dream of performing on stage, but just do not have the avenue to do so.
Rene “Sonny” Alquizola and Gayle Marie Sinadjan founded the CEBU THEATRE COMPANY, LTD., now called Cre8tive Thespians Club, Inc. (CTC).
CTC is a non-profit organization composed of students and young professionals who have banded together for the love of theatre. The group hopes to help educate the Cebuanos on the beauty of theatre. It aims to help preserve the culture and history of Cebu with the performing arts as medium, provide an avenue for individuals to share themselves, and to help steer them away from bad influences, as well as to discover and create a new
generation of theatre artists and audience that can hopefully contribute to the growth and
advancement of Philippine theatre.
Today, CTC roughly has 70 members who form the cast and crew.
CTC doesn’t have permanent sponsors or benefactors since it is a non-profit organization. Members are trained not only performing but also doing the business aspect. In every production, they have a business/marketing team and sponsorship team that will manage the sponsorships and plan strategies to meet the needs of the organization.
